Management Team
The responsibilities of our key management team are as follows:
The CEO is responsible for the day-to-day operations of SRM and the Fund, and together with the Board, the CEO shall determine the strategy of Sentral REIT. The CEO will also work with the other members of our management team to manage and operate Sentral REIT achieving the Fund’s objectives in accordance with the Deed, Capital Markets and Service Act 2007 and REITs Guidelines. In addition, the CEO will be responsible to plan the future strategic development and growth of Sentral REIT.
Ms Tay Hui Ling was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SRM on 26 Jan 2026. She brings more than 20 years of international experience across Asia-Pacific and Europe. Prior to SRM, she was Head of Funds Management at LOGOS (ESR Group), overseeing multiple logistics fund portfolios across Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with assets under management of approximately US$2.5 billion. Earlier in her career, Ms Tay held senior leadership roles with global institutions including Government Investment Corporation of Singapore ("GIC"), Lendlease and HSBC Investment Banking in London. Ms Tay is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales,and holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
The Finance Manager is the person primarily responsible for the financial affairs of Sentral REIT, which encompasses record keeping, financial reporting, financial and tax compliance, debt financing, treasury function and tax planning.
Shirley Tam Soot Lee has been with SRM since 2007. Currently, she leads the Finance Team, overseeing its treasury and capital management, credit control management, financial reporting, budgeting and planning functions. Prior to her present appointment with SRM, she started her career with an audit firm and subsequently with a local manufacturing company, where she gained experience in the manufacturing sector. She holds an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
The Asset Manager focuses on the operations and implementation of the short to medium term objectives of Sentral REIT’s portfolio and supervises the Property Manager in the implementation of Sentral REIT’s strategies. The Asset Manager also works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to implement Sentral REIT’s strategies to ensure its properties maximize their income generation potential and minimize their expense base without compromising the marketability of the rentable space.
Jason Chin Hann Min has more than 20 years of experience in contract management and project management. Prior to his present appointment with SRM, he was employed with MRCB engineering, construction & environmental division where he led and managed the overall construction and delivery of Menara KWSP Kwasa Damansara meeting stakeholder expectations. He holds a Diploma in Quantity Surveying graduated from a local institute.
The Investment and Investor Relations Manager is responsible to identify and evaluate potential acquisitions and divestments opportunities with a view of enhancing Sentral REIT’s portfolio. The Investment and Investor Relations Manager is also responsible for all liaison and communication with unitholders by maintaining continuous disclosure and transparent communication with unitholders and the market.
Yusoff Iskandar bin Mohd Zaki brings along more 15 years of experience encompassing audit, accounting and finance, investment analysis and portfolio management. He began his career in 2008 as an external auditor attached to Ernst and Young Malaysia undertaking financial audits for various industries. Subsequently, he joined a boutique shariah-compliant Private Equity firm focused on investing into Malaysian growth-stage SMEs before joining AmanahRaya REIT as the Head of Investment. He holds Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accountancy from Curtin University, Australia, and is a member of Certified Practicing Accountant (“CPA”) Australia.
Legal Compliance function. This function ensures that Sentral REIT complies with the regulatory requirements governing the establishment, operation and management of Sentral REIT such as the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, REITs Guidelines, SC Guidelines on Unit Trust Funds, Bursa Securities Listing Requirements and other relevant legislations. The legal and compliance function also periodically monitors the operations of Sentral REIT to ensure that there are no breaches to the covenants of the Trust Deed and any other contracts/agreements entered into by Sentral REIT with third parties.
The Leasing Manager’s primary role is to source, identify, communicate and negotiate with existing tenants, prospective tenants and real estate agents for the leasing and marketing of available commercial and retail spaces within Sentral REIT’s portfolio. . The Leasing Manager acts as the main contact person for tenancy queries as well as tenant services, liaison and administration matters. Other key responsibilities includes monitoring the portfolio’s tenancy mix to ensure healthy tenant mix and occupancy rate are achieved.
Christie Pun Nyuk Len bringing over 20 years of experience in leasing, tenancy management, and administration across commercial, retail, and residential properties. She has been with the company for more than 12 years, overseeing leasing operations and supporting the performance of Sentral REIT’s portfolio. She began her career in sales and marketing at a five-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, before transitioning to tenancy management at Resorts World Berhad, where she supported retail leasing operations and tenant coordination. She later joined The W Group, a property developer, where she established and led the property rental department, managing leasing operations across a diverse property portfolio. Subsequently, she joined CapitaLand Group overseeing both commercial and retail portfolios. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia, which provided a foundation in service-oriented practices and disciplined approach to real estate management.
